HONORING KATHY
Kathy Martin had the opportunity to visit Living Room in June 2012. She instantly fell in love with the mission of caring for others in their greatest time of need, at their sickest moment. And not just caring, but also providing hope, love, and most importantly, dignity, to those individuals as they courageously battled through illnesses and pain. During her own recent battle with cancer, Kathy was fortunate to have health care providers, family, and friends who were committed to these very values. She gracefully walked the journey before her, never losing faith along the way. After 8 months of fighting, Kathy entered heaven on May 14, 2014. She passed away with an even greater knowledge of the importance of extending care to those in the midst of their own health crises. In honor of Kathy’s life, her family is asking that donations are made in her name to this worthy organization that exemplifies just this. The Living Room was always dear to Kathy’s heart and will remain meaningful to her family. We appreciate your consideration of donating in lieu of flowers to this wonderful mission, allowing others to receive the same dignity as Kathy experienced.
